CARGO CULT - First Gig - 1983/1984 - (Click on Show More in Description for song list) - Performed at The Jukin’ Joint on E. 13th Ave. Eugene, OR - Home of Dan Schmid (The Jazz Greats/Saint Huck/Cherry Poppin’ Daddies). The evening began with someone throwing up on my drum kit…morphed into Jake and Spike getting shocked through their guitars and microphone…a large and rowdy party crowd pushing their way into the band…and ended up being shut down by the Eugene Police Department…all in all, a pretty rock and roll first gig! I believe I had played drums for a month or two before this show...you know, in case that wasn’t obvious! Audio for this show is also available on the amazing website Panic on 13th: https://panicon13th.blogspot.com/search?q=cargo+cult
